The General Alumni Association of Fisk University, Inc. (GAAFU) engages current students though support for the Pre-Alumni Council, as well as the Reunion Student Ambassadors program, which assists with the annual alumni reunion activities. The staff also serves as advisors to student organizations. For the annual Jubilee Day activities, students serve as hosts and hostesses. It is not unusual for alumni visiting campus from local constituent associations to host students from their local area for an evening of food and conversation.

Constituent associations provide support for current students via scholarships, book awards, and care packages. Yearly “Back to School” events are held in order to engage current and prospective students. This interaction oftentimes is the beginning of relationships that last forever – Fisk Forever!
